Mirror acrylate from Pyrasied offers a safe and versatile alternative solution to ordinary mirrors. The material is 25 times stronger than glass, making it much less likely to break. It is also lighter in weight, making it easier to handle and install in interiors, furniture, decorative panels and commercial applications. The Pyrasied acrylic mirror collection is available in more than 10 different colours and has a thickness of 3 mm. This gives designers and creative professionals ample choice to create aesthetically pleasing and functional projects. The material retains its shine and reflective properties for a long time, even with frequent use and cleaning.
A see-through mirror (Two-way mirror) is a mirror that reflects, but through which you can also see. The see-through mirror has a thin film layer on one side of a clear, extruded acrylic sheet. The mirror plexiglass see-through mirrors are available in different colours. The coloured see-through mirrors have a coloured surface on the acrylic side and a silver surface on the outside.
See-through mirror can be used for outdoor applications as it can withstand wet conditions. However, the silver side of the film should not come into contact with sunlight, as the film will gradually discolour. The applied mirror layer is very vulnerable. So, for example, no (double-sided) tape can be stuck on it, even temporarily. Removing the tape will damage the mirror layer. Any sealant or tape used should be mild.

Yes, mirror acrylic can be lasered, but you need to use the right settings for the laser machine. The settings change per laser machine, which is why we recommend testing on a small piece of acrylic first. If the settings are not set correctly, the edges may become unsightly or the film may come off, for example.
No you can't.
Polycarbonate is lout-proof/impact-resistant. Acrylic is optically purer and therefore easier to work with. It is also more aesthetically pleasing, partly because Polycarbonate is more scratch-sensitive.
The mirror layer is very fragile and there is a coefficient of expansion. This means that you should always attach the mirror working so that it can expand without problems. If the mirror is not fixed working, problems are guaranteed to arise. You cannot use tape or caustic products to fix the mirror, even temporarily. The mirror can be fixed with acetic acid-free silicone sealant and/or a double-sided foam tape with a neutral tape layer at least 1mm thick.
